<div class="tree_txt_unlinked"><p>The genus <em>Hylobates</em> contains 6 species including <em>H. agilis</em>, <em>H. klossii</em>, <em>H .lar</em>, <em>H. moloch</em>, <em>H. muelleri</em>, and <em>H. pileatus</em>. <em>Hylobates</em>
is distinguished from the other Hylobatid genera based primarily on
molecular data. Additionally, female genital swelling is noticeably
more prominent in this genus compared to the other Hylobatid genera.</p>
