<div class="tree_txt_unlinked"><p><em>Euoticus</em>,
or the Needle-clawed bushbaby, are found in all canopy levels in
African forests, and use quadrupedal and leaping forms of locomotion.
Two species are currently recognized: <em>E. elegantulus</em> (southern needle-clawed bushbaby) and <em>E. pallidus</em> (northern needle-clawed bushbaby), though some include <em>E. matschiei</em> in the genus. <em>Euoticus</em>
exhibits several specializations including procumbent maxillary
incisors, premolars that resemble canines, and nails that resemble
claws. The <em>Euoticus</em> diet consists primarily of gums. </p>
